New from Anxiety Press: Misandry

A Thin Slice of Anxiety is pleased to announce our surprise release in conjunction with Outcast-PressMisandry

“It’s gross, explicit, nasty, and probably one of my favourite things that I’ve ever written. It also features a number of exclusive and gorgeous illustrations by A Thin Slice of Anxiety editor Cody Sexton (he also did the cover design) and I can’t wait to hear what you think of it. This is a no-holds-barred collection, probably the most out-there stuff I’ve created so far.” — Louise MacGregor

Blurb

Misandry is a nasty, no-holds-barred collection of short fiction revolving around the hatred of men. It involves everything from a serial killer using her womanhood to evade discovery and a woman trying to make herself disgusting after years of fetishization, to the impossibility of recovery after sexual assault and what it means to be a woman dating “one of the good guys.”

Reviews

“MacGregor is a kind of Kafka steeped in Xannies and rage.” — Justine Jones
