Ode To The Sun

I

O , that we could bask , like Mars . . .

in a universal day , but , you , Sun ,

have learneder designs , for us folk . . .

on Earth ; let us folk , proclaim your . . .

qualities divine , and , emulate you .

II

O , Beautifier , who in generosity , 

aims to garb the world in Sunshine ,

whose touch amplifies landscapes ,

and , allows for chaos to be reigned ,

and for order to preside all the day .

III

O , Destroyer , bringer of fire to the . . .

burnworthy , gaseous sphere , ball , 

whose glare razes deserts , yet not ,

in tirades too hot for life to flourish ,

for whom forests are wood for flame .

IV

O , Magician , whose spells are so . . .

coy , as to be natural , whose flame ,

invests in life , and breathes energy ,

through photosynthesis , unto plants ;

who levitates water into the heavens !

O , Exemplar , who shines on the go ,

to light equally the whole world , who ,

in impartiality enacts justice from the ,

eternal sky , whose greatness is not . . .

forever , which self-implosion betters .

O , Companion , who follows us through . . .

the seasons and the years , who marks . . .

the time and the tides , who rises and . . .

sets with constancy and grace , who . . .

shares with us your warmth and face .

O , lift up an ode in song , to the One . . .

True Sun , better than all the others ,

from whom life spouts , against the

ugliness of chaos and death , Sun ,

who lights the world , and justice is .
