Fiction: She's Made Of Iron, Sir

My great-great-grandfather was Bulgarian and, according to my family, on the Titanic.

After the iceberg hit, he sipped a manly espresso, lit a cigarette, and simply said, “I don’t believe in sinking.”

I have no idea who survived to tell us this or if this is something we just know to be true.

I do know he definitely believed in death, though. 

This became apparent at 2:20 a.m. on April 15, 1912…
