The People's Artist 2026
Against all reasonable expectations, we made the Top 20.
Truth be told, I’ve never cared much for contests like this. Art’s a strange thing to cram into rankings and brackets. But you take the opportunities you can get. Most people making odd little things in dark rooms don’t exactly have patrons lining up outside the door.
So I entered.
And somehow people kept showing up.
People shared the work. Sent messages. Voted. Kept this strange little transmission alive longer than I ever expected.
That means more than I know how to say without sounding sentimental, which I try to avoid whenever possible.
Facebook unfortunately has decided contest links like this are radioactive, so rather than have the algorithm come kicking my door in again, the voting page is quietly living here on the site for anybody interested enough to go looking for it.
In the meantime, the work continues.
